Installation Procedure
2006 Chevrolet Impala LTZSECTION Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
- Install the ECM to the air cleaner lower housing.
- Connect the ECM electrical connectors (2).
- Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
- Install the left front inner fender brace. Refer to Brace Replacement - Front Fender Upper Diagonal .
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPOs LZE/LZ4/LZ9) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure (RPO LS4) .
- Program the new ECM. Refer to Control Module References .
