Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Corvette Base, 2D Convertible, AutomaticSECTION Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Lower and support the rear of the exhaust system.
  3. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.

  5. Remove the differential cooler inlet pipe bolt (1).
  6. Using a bent tip screwdriver, remove the quick connect fitting retaining ring (3) from the quick connect fitting (4) and discard the retaining ring.
  7. Remove the differential cooler inlet pipe from the differential nut.

  9. Disconnect the differential cooler pump inlet pipe from the differential. Refer to Differential Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick Connect FittingΒ .
  10. Remove the differential cooler adaptor nut from the differential.
