Engine Front Cover Replacement: Notes

  1. Remove the crankcase balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer ReplacementΒ .
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Drive Belt Tensioner

  3. Remove the drive belt tensioner.
  4. Fig 2: View Of Idler Pulley

  5. Remove the idler pulley.

  7. Remove the engine front cover to water pump bolt.

  9. Remove the remaining engine front cover bolts.
  10. Remove the engine front cover.
  11. If the engine front cover gasket is damaged, remove the front engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount ReplacementΒ .
