  1. Disconnect the intake air temperature (IAT) sensor harness connector.
  2. Loosen the air cleaner assembly clamp.

  4. Disconnect the air cleaner assembly clips.
  5. Remove the upper air cleaner cover.
  6. Remove the air cleaner filter from the lower air cleaner housing.
  7. Inspect the air cleaner filter for dust, dirt, and water contamination.
  8. Replace as necessary. Refer to Maintenance Schedule (North American Emissions) in Maintenance and Lubrication.
