Instrument Panel Lights/Gages

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Instrument Panel Lights/Gages
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2005 Saturn L300. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

There are several lights/gages in the instrument panel (I/P) cluster that can be controlled by the body control module (BCM). The BCM will send a class 2 message to the I/P cluster when certain DTCs set in the BCM. Refer to the specific BCM DTC in order to determine if an indicator was turned ON by the BCM. For a description on all I/P cluster lights/gages, refer to Indicator/Warning Message Description and Operation in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
