- Using a scan tool compare the desired engine idle speed to the actual engine speed.
- Actual engine speed should be no greater than 100 RPM below desired.
- Actual engine speed should be no greater than 200 RPM above desired.
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
