Installation Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Carefully clean the throttle body mounting surfaces of any gasket and/or seal material.

  3. Install the throttle body and NEW gasket.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the throttle body bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the throttle body bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  7. Install the throttle body electrical connector.
  8. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Intake Duct ReplacementΒ .
  9. Perform the idle learn procedure. Refer to Idle Learn ProcedureΒ .
  10. Use the scan tool to clear all DTCs.
