Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front side door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
1 Front Side Door Window Regulator Bolts (Qty: 5)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedures

  1. Place the window in the full up position.
  2. Tape the window to the door upper door frame.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Tighten:Β  10 N.m (89 lb in)

2 Front Side Door Window Regulator

Procedures

  1. Push in on each end of the window insulators retainer clips.
  2. Slide the sash forward releasing the window retainer clips from the window.
  3. Inspect the window for proper operation before installing the door trim panel.

Tip:Β  Do not remove the sash from the window regulator.
