NOTE:
  • Before you troubleshoot, record all freeze data and any on-board snapshot with the HDS, and review General Troubleshooting Information (see GENERAL TROUBLESHOOTING INFORMATIONΒ  ).
  • This code is indicated when PCM updating is incomplete.
  • Do not turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) or ACCESSORY (I) while updating the PCM. If you turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) or ACCESSORY (I) before completion, the PCM can be damaged.
  1. Update the PCM (see PCM UPDATE ).
  2. Check for Pending or Confirmed DTCs with the HDS.

    Is DTC P16C0 indicated?Β 

    YESΒ  -Replace the original PCM (see PCM REPLACEMENT ).

    NOΒ  -Troubleshooting is complete.
