- With the ignition ON and the engine OFF, observe the 5-volt Reference 1 and 2 parameters. The scan tool should display 4.8-5.2 volts for a normally operating system.
- Ignition ON, observe the DTC information with a scan tool. DTCs P0641 and P0651 should not set on this ignition cycle.
- Operate the vehicle within the Conditions for Running the DTC. You may also operate the vehicle within the conditions that you observed from the Freeze Frame/Failure Records data.
