  1. Position the wiper motor to the wiper transmission assembly.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the wiper motor screws.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the screws to 8 N.m (71 lb in).

  4. IMPORTANT: The new wiper motor comes pre-timed from the factory in the PARK position. Do Not energize the wiper motor prior to installation.
    If the wiper motor is energized, the wiper motor must be electrically returned to the PARK position as shown, prior to installation.
  5. Install the wiper motor crank arm and crank arm nut.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  6. Install the windshield wiper transmission. Refer to Windshield Wiper Transmission ReplacementΒ .
  7. Install the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel ReplacementΒ .
