IMPORTANT:
Use this procedure only if replacing the TDM using new vehicle keys.
The TDM must be replaced prior to beginning this procedure.

- Connect a scan tool to the vehicle.
- With a new, unlearned, vehicle key, turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
- With a scan tool, select Theft Deterrent Module in the Vehicle Control Systems Module Setup data list.
- Select Step 1.
- Select Use New Keys.
- Follow the scan tool on-screen instructions.
