Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
Fastener Tightening Specifications:Β  Refer to Fastener Tightening SpecificationsΒ .
IMPORTANT: Provide support for the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) assembly while removing the BPMV bracket.
Preliminary Procedure:Β If equipped with RPO LSJ, remove the throttle body air snorkel.
1 Bolt, Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket
Tip:Β  Loosen upper bolt but do not remove.

Tighten:Β  25 N.m (18 lb ft)

2 Bolt, Engine Control Module Bracket (Qty: 2)

Tighten:Β  12 N.m (106 lb in)

3 Bolt, Brake Pressure Modulator Valve-to-Bracket

Tighten:Β  5.6 N.m (50 lb in)

4 Insulator, Brake Pressure Modulator Valve
Tip:Β  Inspect both the upper and lower insulators for excessive wear and/or damage. Replace the insulators if necessary.
5 Bracket, Brake Pressure Modulator Valve
Tip:Β  The bracket upper mounting hole is a key hole slot design. Lift the bracket slightly to release it from the remaining bolt.
