  1. Position the flywheel to the crankshaft.
  2. Install the flywheel bolts finger tight.
  3. Use the J 37096Β  to secure the flywheel in order to prevent the crankshaft from rotating.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Tighten the engine flywheel bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 70 N.m (52 lb ft).

  5. Install the automatic transaxle, if equipped. Refer to Transmission Replacement (RPOs LZE/LZ8) .
