Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the left side lower instrument panel (I/P) closeout panel (hush panel) push pin fasteners and remove the panel.

  3. Remove the left side lower heater duct assembly push pin fastener and remove the duct.
  4. Disconnect the cruise brake switch harness connector.

  5. Remove the cruise brake switch by rotating it to 180 degrees so it will pull out from the bracket.
