Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the right closeout insulator. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Disconnect the blower motor resistor electrical connector.
1 Screw, Blower Motor Resistor (Qty: 2)
Tip:Β  Remove the heat stakes that secure the blower motor resistor to the HVAC module assembly using a small chisel.

Tighten:Β  1.5 N.m (13 lb in)
