2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear suspension lower control arm to the support assembly.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install a new nut and bolt to the rear suspension lower control arm to support assembly.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nut and bolt to 90 N.m (66 lb ft) plus and additional 60 to 75 degrees.

  4. Install the rear support assembly. Refer to Support Replacement - Rear in Frame and Underbody.
