Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM)

Scan Tool Output Control Additional Menu Selection(s) Description
ABS Relay - Commands the ABS relay ON and OFF.
Automated Bleed - Used in order to bleed the ABS hydraulics. Refer to ABS Automated Bleed ProcedureΒ .
Automated Test - Cycles each solenoid valve and the pump motor in order to verify component operation. This test is identical to the Initialization Sequence. If a malfunction is detected, the EBCM will set the appropriate DTCs. The DTCs will be displayed upon completion of the test.
LF Inlet Solenoid Solenoid Test Commands the solenoid ON and OFF.
LF Outlet Solenoid Solenoid Test Commands the solenoid ON and OFF.
LR Inlet Solenoid Solenoid Test Commands the solenoid ON and OFF.
LR Outlet Solenoid Solenoid Test Commands the solenoid ON and OFF.
RF Inlet Solenoid Solenoid Test Commands the solenoid ON and OFF.
RF Outlet Solenoid Solenoid Test Commands the solenoid ON and OFF.
RR Inlet Solenoid Solenoid Test Commands the solenoid ON and OFF.
RR Outlet Solenoid Solenoid Test Commands the solenoid ON and OFF.
TIM Reset - Used in order to reset the tire inflation monitor.
