  1. Press in the new bearing as shown in the illustration until seated using the J 44563Β  or equivalent. See Special ToolsΒ .

  3. Install the bearing retainer snap ring.

  5. Use the small driver to support the bearing inner race with its small pilot side facing towards the press, away from the bearing.

  7. Press in the hub using the following part numbers:
    • Knuckle support tube
    • Small driver
  8. Install the steering knuckle to the vehicle. Refer to Steering Knuckle ReplacementΒ .
