- Press in the new bearing as shown in the illustration until seated using the J 44563 or equivalent. See Special Tools .
- Install the bearing retainer snap ring.
- Use the small driver to support the bearing inner race with its small pilot side facing towards the press, away from the bearing.
- Press in the hub using the following part numbers:
- Knuckle support tube
- Small driver
- Install the steering knuckle to the vehicle. Refer to Steering Knuckle Replacement .
