2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine mount bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the engine mount bracket bolts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Using the engine support fixture, lower the engine.
  5. Remove the engine support fixture.
  6. Install the upper engine mount nuts.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  7. Install the left exhaust manifold. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Replacement - Left (RPO LS4) .
  8. Install the engine mount strut. Refer to Engine Mount Strut ReplacementΒ .
