2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the ignition coil.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Install the ignition coil bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).

  4. Connect the right side spark plug wires to the ignition coil.

  6. Connect the left side spark plug wires to the ignition coil.

  8. Connect the ignition coil electrical connector (6).
  9. Connect the MAP sensor electrical connector (1).
  10. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
