Circuit/System Description
The body control module (BCM) controls the retained accessory power (RAP) relay through the RAP relay control circuit by applying voltage to the coil side of the relay. The RAP relay is energized when any of the following conditions are true:
- Ignition Switch is in ACC or ON.
- The vehicle was remote started.
- The vehicle is in RAP power mode.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
