2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the O-ring (11) to the VSS (10).

  3. Install the VSS (10).
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the VSS bolt (9).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt (9) to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  7. Connect the VSS electrical connector.
  8. Install the right front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  9. Lower the vehicle.
