- Install the theft deterrent exciter module onto the ignition lock cylinder case assembly.
- Connect the connector to the theft deterrent exciter module.
- If necessary, connect the connector to the ignition lock cylinder case.
- Install the lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
- Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement (Manual Tilt) in Steering Wheel and Column.
- Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 in SIR.
