- Clean and block at the water pump mating surface.
- Install a new water pump O-seal to the water pump.
- Install the water pump assembly.
- Install the water pump bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the water pump bolts to 12 N.m (106 lb. in.).
- Install the timing belt cover. Refer to Timing Belt Cover Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L.
- Fill the coolant system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System .
