2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Cut the replacement carpet in the same location as the removed carpet.
  2. Install the front carpet in the vehicle tucking the carpet under the HVAC module and under the shift rod. Make sure that the carpet is properly placed to prevent wrinkles.
  3. Install the driver side carpet retaining fastener.

  5. Install the right and the left carpet retainers. Refer to Carpet Retainer ReplacementΒ .

  7. Install the hinge pillar. Refer to Trim Replacement - Hinge PillarΒ .

  9. Install the center console. Refer to Console Replacement .
