2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the outlet resonator/duct assembly into position.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Position the outlet resonator/duct assembly to support bracket and install the bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb. in.).

  4. Tighten the clamps at the air cleaner assembly and the front outlet duct seal assembly.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the clamps to 4 N.m (35 lb. in.).
