Installation Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner assembly into position, aligning locking pins into the front panel.

  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the air cleaner attachment bolt.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb. in.).

  4. Install the filter element and air cleaner assembly top cover.

  5. Tighten the clamp at the air cleaner assembly.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the clamp to 4 N.m (35 lb. in.).

  6. Connect the IAT 1 sensor connector.
