Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the cruise brake switch connector.

  2. Rotate the cruise brake switch counterclockwise and remove the cruise brake switch from the switch retainer.

  3. IMPORTANT: Depressing the brake pedal will allow easier access of the retainer locking tabs.
  4. Gently compress the locking tabs on the cruise brake retainer and remove the switch retainer from the brake pedal assembly.
