2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the Intake Manifold Runners. Refer to Intake Runner Replacement (Front) or Intake Runner Replacement (Rear) in Engine Mechanical.
  2. Fig 1: Removing/Installing Ignition Control Module

  3. Remove the Ignition Modules. Refer to Ignition Control Module Replacement - Bank 1Β  and Ignition Control Module Replacement - Bank 2Β .
  4. CAUTION: Wear safety glasses when using compressed air, as flying dirt particles may cause eye injury.
