2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS, 4D Sedan, StandardSECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel level sender onto the new fuel pump. Refer to Fuel Level Sensor ReplacementΒ .
  2. Install the new fuel pump with the level sender and the new fuel pump-to-tank seal. Ensure the orientation tabs are aligned.

  4. Use the J 43827Β  to install the fuel pump lock ring. See Special ToolsΒ .
  5. Connect the fuel lines and wiring harness.
  6. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank ReplacementΒ .
