  1. Connect the wiring to the air bag.
  2. Align the air bag studs with holes in the steering wheel and press into position.
  3. IMPORTANT: Press each corner of the air bag until all spring retainers snap into position.
  4. Install the upper steering column trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  5. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3Β .
