  1. Remove the fuel rail. Refer to Fuel Rail Assembly ReplacementΒ .
  2. Remove the fuel injector retainer clip (3).
  3. Remove the fuel injectors (5) from the fuel rail.
  4. IMPORTANT: Visually inspect the fuel injector in order to determine if the upper O-ring was also removed. If the upper O-ring is not removed, remove the O-ring from the fuel rail assembly.
  5. Remove and discard the fuel injector O-rings (4, 7).
