Removal Procedure

- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
- Disconnect the exhaust camshaft position (CMP) sensor electrical connector (1).
- Remove the CMP sensor bolt. Intake CMP shown, exhaust CMP similar.
- Remove the CMP sensor.
