Removal Procedure

- Disconnect the engine harness electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
- Loosen the clamps at the air cleaner housing and throttle body.
- Reposition the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose clamp at the camshaft cover.
- Remove the PCV hose from the camshaft cover.
- Remove the push pin retainer.
- Remove the air cleaner outlet duct.
- If necessary, reposition the PCV hose clamp at the outlet duct.
- If necessary, remove the PCV hose from the outlet duct.
