  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 3 .
  2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  3. Program the theft deterrent control module after replacement. Refer to Programming Theft Deterrent System ComponentsΒ .
