- Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
- Disconnect the spark plug wires and ignition coil wire from the distributor. Refer to Spark Plug Wire ReplacementΒ .
- Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor harness connector from the distributor.
- Remove the distributor cap screws.
- Remove the distributor cap.
- Remove the rotor screws.
- Remove the rotor.
- Align the square slot in the reluctor wheel with the CMP sensor.
- Remove the CMP screws.
- Remove the CMP sensor.
