The Entertainment System on this vehicle is configured with either a base or an uplevel system. Both the base and uplevel systems contain a radio, antenna, and speakers.

The uplevel system differs from the base level system by providing the customer with enhanced audio system features. Some of those features may include the radio data system (RDS), extended range speakers, and a remote playback device.

The following list shows the base and uplevel radios available for this vehicle:

  • Base Radio (UM7) - AM/FM
  • Base Radio (U1C) - AM/FM with CD
  • Uplevel Radio (UB1) - AM/FM, Cassette and CD
  • Uplevel Radio (UC6) - AM/FM, Integral Multi Disc CD Changer
Radio Features

Controls Base Radio UM7 Base Radio U1C Uplevel Radio UB1 Uplevel Radio UC6
Power Push PWR/VOL knob to turn the radio on. Push PWR/VOL knob to turn the radio on.
Volume The volume is adjusted by rotating the PWR/VOL knob. The volume is adjusted by rotating the PWR/VOL knob.
Automatic Volume Control N/A Press the AUTOVOL Button
Tune Turn the RCL/TUNE knob. Turn the TUNE/DISP knob
Seek Momentarily press SEEK/SCAN button
Scan Hold SEEK/PSCAN button at least 4 seconds
Presets Six AM and Six FM Six AM, Six FM1 and Six FM2
Preset Saving Press and hold desired button until an audible beep is heard
Set Clock Press and hold the UP or DOWN arrow button until an audible beep indicates the time set mode has been entered. Once the beep is heard, the time can be set by tapping the up button to increment the hour and the down arrow to increment the minute. Press and hold the HR or MN button until an audible beep indicates the time set mode has been entered. Once the beep is heard, the time can be set by tapping each button to incrementally adjust the time. Holding down each button will rapidly change the time.
Recall Push the RCL/TUNE knob. Push the TUNE/DISP knob
Fade or Balance Press the AUDIO button to select Press the PTYPE LIST/AUDIO button to select and adjust both Fade and Balance
