Removal Procedure

2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Removal Procedure
    CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zones in SIR.
  2. Remove the inflator module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Replacement in SIR.

  4. Remove the horn plunger from the steering column by pressing inward to the stop and rotating horn plunger 90 degrees.

  6. Remove the horn contact plate retaining screws from the steering wheel.
  7. Remove the horn plunger from the steering wheel.
