2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the inflatable restraint I/P module (1) to the I/P carrier.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the lower bolts (2) hand tight.
  4. Install the lower bolts (3) to the inflatable restraint I/P module.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the right knee bolster bracket. Refer to Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  7. Install the passenger I/P trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  8. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the inflatable restraint I/P module.
  9. Install the CPA to the I/P module electrical connector.
  10. Install the body control module. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Computer/Integrating Systems.
  11. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 5Β .
