2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly ReplacementΒ .

  4. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle body lever.

  6. Remove the accelerator cable from the cable bracket.

  8. Unclip the accelerator cable from the engine sight shield mounting bracket and the generator bracket.

  10. Remove the left instrument panel (IP) insulator.
  11. Disconnect the accelerator cable retainer (3) from the accelerator pedal lever (2).
  12. Squeeze the accelerator cable cover tangs (1) and push the cable through the dash panel.
  13. Remove the accelerator cable.
