Circuit/System Description
The cruise control resume/accel and set/coast switches are an input to the engine control module (ECM). The ECM monitors the cruise control resume/accel and set/coast switch signal circuits. The ECM detects a voltage signal on the cruise control resume/accel and set/coast switch signal circuits when the corresponding switch is applied. This DTC sets if the ECM detects that voltage is present on the cruise control resume/accel or the set/coast switch signal circuits for longer than 1 second, when the cruise on/off switch is in the off position.

When to See a Mechanic
