2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (2.2L (L61) and 3.5L (L66))Β  or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (2.4L (LAT))Β .

  3. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement (2.2L (L61))Β  or Battery Tray Replacement (2.4L (LAT))Β  or Battery Tray Replacement (3.5L (L66))Β .
  4. Remove the negative battery cable nut from the right frame rail.

  6. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the transmission bracket (3).
  7. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the retainers.
  8. Remove the negative battery cable.
