2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the power steering pump from the bracket (3). Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement (4.3L)Β , Power Steering Pump Replacement (4.8L, 5.3L and 6.0L)Β , Power Steering Pump Replacement (8.1L)Β , Power Steering Pump Replacement (6.6L Diesel)Β  or Power Steering Pump Replacement (5.3L w/RPO HP2)Β .

  3. Remove the positive battery junction block bracket retaining bolts (2) from the power steering pump bracket.
  4. Remove the bolts retaining the power steering pump bracket (3) to the engine.

  5. Remove the power steering pump bracket from the vehicle.
