2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the vehicle.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the power steering gear.

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

  4. Install the power steering pressure hose (2) to the power steering pump (1).

    Tighten:Β  Tighten the fitting to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
  6. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering SystemΒ .
