- Raise the hood.
- Remove the upper radiator support baffle. Refer to Radiator Air Baffle and Deflector Replacement - Upper .
- Remove the bolts (2) from the hood release latch (1).
- Disconnect the hood ajar indicator switch connector, if equipped.
- Disconnect the hood release cable end from the latch.
- Remove the hood release latch from the vehicle.
