- Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement (Except Cadillac) , Knee Bolster Replacement (Cadillac) .
- Remove the steering column shroud. Refer to Steering Column Shroud Replacement (With Electronic Tilt Steering) , Steering Column Shroud Replacement (Without Electronic Tilt Steering) .
- Put the steering column in the uppermost tilted position.
