2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the right fuel injection fuel feed pipes. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement - Right SideΒ .
  2. Remove the right fuel injection fuel return pipe. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Return Pipe Replacement - Right SideΒ .
  3. CAUTION: Label all the injector electrical connectors before the connectors are removed in order to prevent reconnecting to the wrong injector. Failure to properly connect the injectors in the correct sequence will cause severe engine damage.
  4. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.

  6. Remove the engine wiring harness clip (1) from the wiring harness bracket and remove the bracket (2).

  8. Remove the engine wiring harness clips from the wiring harness bracket.
  9. Remove the engine wiring harness bracket bolts (1) and bracket.

  11. Remove the engine wiring harness clip from the oil level indicator tube bracket (2).
  12. Remove the oil level indicator tube bolt (3).
  13. Remove the oil level indicator tube bracket bolts (1).
  14. Remove the oil level indicator tube bracket (2).

  16. Remove the fuel injector bracket bolts.

  18. Install the J-46594Β  (1) into the bolt hole in the fuel injector bracket.
  19. Install a flare nut wrench onto the J-46594Β  and pull back away from the fuel injector, until the injector releases from its seat.
  20. Remove the J-46594Β  .
