Preliminary Procedures

  1. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and EnablingΒ .
  2. Remove the front center floor console bezel assembly, if equipped. Refer to Floor Console Bezel Replacement .
  3. Remove the center seat, if equipped. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement .
1 Inflatable Restraint Vehicle Rollover Sensor Nut (Qty: 3)
CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten:Β  10 N.m (88 lb in)

  • Reposition carpet and/or wiring harness in order to access sensor.
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors.
