2006 Chevrolet Chevy Express G2500, Van Cargo, 6.6 2SECTION Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Side Post) .
  2. Remove the steering column shroud. Refer to Steering Column Shroud Replacement .

  4. Turn the ignition lock cylinder to the RUN position.

  6. Depress the retainer through the lock housing access hole (1) with a small Allen wrench or similar pick-type tool.
  7. Remove the ignition lock cylinder from the lock housing.
